I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am fun loving, caring, and good natured. I am known to have a great sense of humor and wake up happy! I do not act my age nor look it, so I have been told. A music lover and dancer, and can be a home-body, but a night in the city wouldn't be a bad idea either. I like to cook but don't want to be expected to..unless you might be supporting me in a lavish fashion, just kidding! I like to work and keep busy..no couch potato..but a good movie or some TV is always fun. A great book is the best! I like to write songs poetry and now writing a book, just a hobby.. for now, not a profession..maybe some day. A dreamer too, but some dreams have come true!I have a medical billing business..and a medical Asst. student. Hope for it to grow so it will allow me to have the freedom I am going for in so many aspects of my life. I like to dress up and go out on the town once in a while..only to come back to the quiet country and listen to all the critters, watch the deer, embrace the quiet.I am fun to be with and enjoy most people. I make friends easy. I am new to the area and need new contacts. I am a girly-girl. And laugh a lot!! No sense of humor, forget it...only people I don't get.

My Interests

Photography is one of my hobbies. Learning stained glass, teaching myself Spanish. I love to swim! Work-out. Get together with friends and family. I do crossword puzzles. I also like outdoor activities, biking, hiking, wine tasting, gardening, it's endless. I am open to trying new things. I believe in constant self- improvement, that is what drives me. My biggest interest is my 28 year old son. He is always been the light that has guided me to where I am today. As well as nieces and nephews that are very special to me. One niece.. I was there when she was born and I always felt a special bond with her, she is my Sunshine girl! She is the daughter that I never had, but had. I thank her mom for sharing! I find younger people are much more interesting then some adults, as life has not jaded them and they still have hope and dream of their future..I still do that. I do not think we should ever stop dreaming until we take our last breathe.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet a women friend I could be buddies with. That might have similiar interests. Please no one with any substance abuse problems. I like a true listener, I am one as well. I would like a work-out partner. But if you don't work- out it is not a deal breaker! I love to shop. I do crafts, read, I have many passions! Just have a friend to be there to laugh and chat with about our day, make fun plans with. Maybe try new things, dancing class, volunteer work, go to the show, theatre, out to dine, make a new dish or share our recipes..maybe just kick back and relax watch TV.I have the love of my life, he found me on here on myspace unexpectly and to my surprise as I was not ready for a relationship. So, my dear friends..don't settle, but there is hope I found mine.

Music:

I have a diverse range of interests...to name just a few, Rolling Stones, AeroSmith, Rod Stewart, Train, Jewel, Eric Clapton, Allman Brothers, Maroon 5, Collective Soul, Davide Krull, Sound tracks I like to get a wide range of favs in one package, Elvis. I enjoy show tunes, Rock & Roll to Blues, it's all good. I do not think I dislike any music. Just some I don't embrace.

Movies:

Anything with great special effects that is not graphic. I like all of Bob Fosse's stuff, because Jazz dancing I did years ago, and his is sensual. I have so many favorites...I can not think of a particular one right now. I loved Pulp Fiction and will cry to Terms of Endearment. Crash, ..Pirates of the Carribbean. Johnny Depp take me away! Except for slasher films, no thanks!

Television:

Movies, news, sitcoms, few reality shows ( the dancing and rock singers), game shows, documentaries.

Books:

I am reading, "Daughter of Fortune, by Isabel Allende", New Yorker magazines. I read all of Anita Shreve, Michael Crichton, others like Tawni o'Dell, that is just on the top of my head, there are many! I have been reading since I was young. My mom said, "I always had my head in a book". I like something that sticks to real life situations and history...something I can learn from usually.

Heroes:

My Father...may he rest in peace. My brother, who is fighting for his life right now so very valiantly! My son, he is my reason.... People that help others in need with great patience and compassionate hearts... angels on earth... Thank you!
