About Me

I'm normal...until you get to know me... I am a geek through and through. Other than that I am a tad obnoxious. I am mom to two beautiful Welsh Corgis. My personal goal is to defy classification. I have 3 speeds "GO, GO, GO", "stop" and "fishing." Anyone I know should be able to testify to this. I don't like to be put in a box. I have an awesome boyfriend whom I adore and live close to Eastown where I truly have always felt at home. I read too much junk and tend to obsess periodically. I love to entertain, to travel and to do something out of routine at least once a week. I have a phenomenal group of friends I wouldn't trade for anyone else. I wear too many vintage clothes and dress like a naughty librarian about 50% of the time. My latest mission in life is to make underwear cool again. If I died tomorrow I'd like to believe I've lead an interesting life. I am pretty sure it wouldn't be enough to fill a biography but I'd leave an index at my funeral with an impressively long list of bands I've seen live, conventions I have attended, cities I have come back with odd stories/hangovers from, and noteworthy people I've rubbed elbows with. If you don't take charge of the life you have you are nothing. I take every opportunity to enjoy my life to its fullest. My Interests

Comics, Anime, alternative and rock music, old school Anime, Japanese fashion, attending comic and anime cons, cel collecting, cos-play, Tetris, gardening, comics, Peter Facinelli, going to as many cool concerts as possible, Drift Racing, Bass fishing, Rock Band and fan fiction.

I'd like to meet:

Fan Boys and girls, people who like old Wildstorm comics, Fastlane, and shippers. I want to meet people who like the same crappy music I like and enjoy going to shows but are reliable. If you message me out of the blue please come up with something more intellectual to say than how hot a part of my bod is or "what's up". I'm open to meeting new people but I'd prefer to meet people who have more criteria than a superficial look. Want to give me some tips on how to hook a trophy Northen? Great! Want to swap anime or comicon stories? Great! Want to tell me how cute I am and then add me to your MySpace harem? Sorry. Everclear!!!!! also a mix of other stuff. Our Lady Peace, Third Eye Blind, the Exies, Counting Crows, Marcy Playground, Colorfinger, Eve 6, Fall Out Boy, Lifehouse, Better than Ezra, Spin Doctors, Screaming Trees, Japanese dance music, Pushing 33, 19 Wheels, LIVE, the Cure, Fat, Radiohead, Wallflowers, Weezer, Soul Coughing, Sponge and the Vines. Yeah, I know..it's like the 90's never ended for me.

Movies:

Best movie ever was Mallrats though depth-wise Dangerous Touch comes close. I also hate to admit I LOVED Moulin Rouge. Domino, The 300, Chasing Amy, Doom Generation, Clerks, American Beauty, Splendor,Stupid teeny bopper movies, Dancer Texas, Nowhere, The Royal Tenenbaums, and the X-Files movie all received good reviews from me. I'll watch anything with Nicole Kidman or Peter Facinelli in it too. I LOVE good anime. I'm talking Cowboy Bebop the movie, Akira, Perfect Blue, Plastic Little, Evangelion, Arcadia of my Youth,and many, many others.

Television:

Mad Men, House Hunters, Coffee Prince, Ghost Hunters, Arrested Development,The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, The O.C., the X-Files, Law & Order: SVU, Dirt, That 70's Show, Fastlane, The Simpsons, King of the Hill are all on my Tivo. I also waste my time with the following anime shows: Cowboy Bebop and Evangelion, Ranma 1/2, Devil Hunter Yohko, Nadesico, GoldenBoy, Dokyousei, Kare Kano, Genshiken, Melancholy and many others.

Books:

I like picture books by Urushihara!!!!! love those caterpillars! WildC.A.T.s 3.0 and the old school stuff, X-Men, manga, Hot Gimmick! Backlash, Gen 13, Chirality, Stainless Steel Armadillo, anything about Edgar Cayce, and Maia by Richard Adams

Heroes:

Darwin, Jim Lee and Dana Scully. She should be everyone's hero.
