Super and Fame, first introduced in 2000 with the founding of SuperStang Entertainment, LLC, are back in the lab to bring you more of their Southern-fried hip-hop. Following the regional success of their first single People Get Ready, which garnered airplay in their hometown of Jackson, Mississippi, as well as in Nashville, Tennessee, group members and cousins J Super and 601 Rob Fame released the compilation album entitled The Stang and released the singles Wasting Time and Hard Time Mississippi, which earned them SoundScan airplay. After doing shows with some of the Souths premier rap artists and releasing several mix tapes, Super and Fame recently released the double mix CD The New Jack City Mix and Jacksons Most Wanted: The Mix Tape hosted by Nashvilles own DJ Spade AKA the Mix Tape Slanga. The first single from this album, Sunny Dayz, will be hitting the airwaves soon. Super, who produces the groups music in addition to providing his lyrical skills, is currently shopping beats to fellow Mississippi artists David Banner (Universal) and Boo (J Records) as well as other Southern artists. He has produced tracks for Nu Brand Inc.s hot new artist Styleon in conjunction with Richard Marley Booker of the legendary Bob Marley family. Super also lends his production skills to Cowboy and his Buck Wild Mafia on the Down-South Moneymakers album. While J Super holds it down in Tennessee, 601 Rob Fame is making moves in Jack-town. He is teaming up with Paper Bizzel for the new street mix tape Hood 2 Hood. Meanwhile, be on the lookout for J Supers solo album KEEP WORKING due Spring/Summer 2007. He recently shot a video in Miami, Florida, for the first single Keep Working. Super and Fame continue to perform around the South so keep an eye out for appearances near you. guys layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com MyHotComments
