Hello friends! My name is Lori Malay. Malay is my staged last name that originated from my real last name. I was born and raised in San Diego, Ca, but moved to Dallas, TX in 1998 in search of better understanding of myself and to retain my independence. Nevertheless, I was compelled to move back to the San Diego last year to further my career, but most importantly, to fulfill my obligations and focus more on my priorities! Modeling has been such a joy-a journey filled with adventures beyond my imagination! Fashion has always sparked my interest earlier on in my life. Designing clothes and make-up never cease to amaze me every time. I perceive make-up as another form of art for its remarkable colors and how it can accentuate one's facial structures. I got into modeling several years back, but I was always hesitant to pursue it because of my height. And yes, I am quite a shorty (LOL) :. For years, I have not really thought of it, but there was always this constant urge to pursue it. Finally last year, I decided to follow what my heart tells me. I mean, what have I got to loose? I thought it would be such a privilege to do what I enjoy to do and be able to go out there and express what I am all about! Besides, I have always had the support of my friends and family that made me even stronger to follow my desires. My friends conceive me as very outgoing, but at the same time, I can be very shy especially in front of a big audience. However, taking pictures has always given me delight. That's how it all began. I started designing my own clothing to add a flavor to my fashion style. My friends have always categorized me as being one of the most stylish girls in Dallas! I came across Prestigious Models while I was surfing the net. What appealed to me about the agency is how they presented their models as : EXOTIC, SEXY, AND CLASSY. It's such a pleasure to see import models being set so differently from its stereotypical reputation. I certainly would not mind to be a part of an agency that upholds higher level of standards. I went to the Prestigious Models appearance here in Dallas to give it a shot. I finally got to meet Kim Loan, and it was such a joy to meet a person with so much drive and ambitions! I got a phone call from her two weeks later welcoming me to her agency. From then on, the adventures I had with all the girls have been such an enjoyment. I developed a more vivid comprehension of myself, created lifelong friendships, and discovered a whole new threshold of how the world really works out there. From traveling state to state to meeting tons of people, I am more than grateful that I had followed my heart. Modeling has become a mirror that projects a reflection of a better conception of who I am as a person, what my aspirations are and how I can follow through in achieving them. It has enabled me to become strong-willed to pursue other areas of my interests such as fashion designing and poetry. I hope to establish my own fashion line in the future as well as a publication of all my poetry, which is my heartbeat and my life!I hope that this website will allow you to see a glimpse of me! I created it just for you guys. Being in the industry for only seven months, the support and the love I received from my fans have been tremendously incredible!!! My advice to all my friends, my family, and to all aspiring models out there is to never be afraid to go after a dream. You only live once, so try it or you'll regret it. And that's exactly what I did…If you do have a dream of becoming someone who you think is unreachable, it doesn't hurt to give it one or more tries. You will never know what you will stumble upon through the process. Just remember that dreams are there to motivate us, and it is completely up to us to make it a reality! I would like to thank my family and my friends for the never-ending support. You guys are my strength! To all my fans, thank you very much for always being there for me through my ups and downs. You guys are my foundation on how everything got started! It is through your continuous support and love that I am doing what I'm doing right now.
