I'm learning to love life. Something that I never did before because I couldn't see past my own bitterness. I was too busy hating on other peoples' possessions and talents. I wondered why I couldn't have the good-ass paying job. Or the supermodel body with supermodel beauty and supermodel paycheck! Why was I struggling to make ends meet and being unhappy in every job I worked at while others seemingly had it better than me? Why was I envious of people who I thought believed I was inferior to them? Why, why why? Answer: Because I allowed it to be that way! Yes. I created my own reality and therefore I was the bearer of my own bad news. A hazard unto myself. My own worst enemy! I realize that everyday is precious and that to spend it wallowing in sorrow is wasteful and sinful. I had to recognize my unique skills and talents. I had to stop concentrating on other people because then I wasn't concentrating on myself and getting my act together! The divinity that is within me wasn't being nurtured. My spirit was wasting away due to the poisonous thoughts and vibes I was creating. I was so busy chanting the mantra "Why me, why me; woe is me!" that I didn't bother to see that life was good! Life was beautiful. I am beautiful! Maybe not by this society's standards, but because the Divine that lives in me deems it so! I am by no means religious. I stopped following organized religions a long time ago. But, I do believe that what you put out (vibes, thoughts) comes back. So, if you think positive and say, "I will do this; I will achieve that", then you will! It's called Creative Visualization. You must see yourself obtaining it and making the steps to get there in order to have it. And if you don't know how, then be humble enough to seek help and support. In this Age of Information, Instant Communication, and Tele-Globalization, this generation can achieve untold wealth. By wealth, I'm not just talking about monetary gain. I mean wealth of spirit, wealth of knowledge and wisdom, and wealth of personal growth; mental and emotional enlightenment. We are not promised a tomorrow. Ever! I'm trying to make every day count. All things are sacred. It all begins and ends with me.
