About Me

"kafabindunya" is an ambient/experimental post rock band located in Istanbul/Turkey, mostly influenced by Mono, Oceansize and the eastern-side harmonies of The Tea Party. The recording/mixing/mastering processes are all made by the band themselves. The main reason the band plays instrumental music is the fact that songs with lyrics limit the story that the listener will imagine, by the contents of the lyrics. When listening to the instrumental stuff, the listeners' imagination is only limited by the songs' name. So the possibility of everyone to find a different piece of soul-stuff in the song will be increased (by writing instrumental stuff).
