MR LOW

Born and raised in the Bronx and representing strong Puerto Rican roots, Mr. Low says he's the modern day ghetto cliche'. Another dude from the hood who found music and it changed his life. As a former ghetto entrepreneur turned hardcore Hip-Hop artist. Mr. Low cultivated a strong reputation in the underground circuit. Since the early 90s, Mr. Low has been known for his devastating stage performances everywhere from Jimmys Cafe' in the Bronx to the Goddess Lounge in South Beach. Emerging victorious in countless open mic competitions and MC battles on street corners in every borough. Well-known artists from the likes of Fat Joe, and the late great Big Pun to old school favorites like Slick Rick and the infamous Melli-Mel have borne witness to the dynamic lyrical talents of this young rap artist.
By the end of the 90s his love for the music, and passion to create drove him to the other side of the sweet science. Along with his cousin fellow south Bronx native Michael Vargas a young established entrepreneur in the Real Estate industry, and Hip-Hop junky at heart. A new movement was established. In late 1997 MYWORLD Records inc. was born. Inspired by business minds like Russell Simmons, 2-Short, Dame, and Jay-Z. They created an innovative, independent record label based in New York City with representatives in Miami, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Their goal is to empower todays Hip-Hop and R&B artists with comprehensive industry resources, savvy multi-faced marketing campaigns and keen management. Cultivating the power behind the Hip-Hop and R&B generation is the goal of the MYWORLD Records team.
With MYWORLDs state-of-the-art recording facility, Mr. Low has mastered just about every facet of the music making process. Although he does admit that every single day there are new things to learn. He is committed to creating dynamic, energetic music. With a couple of minor notches under their belt, scoring clothing commercials for companies such as Esco, and other independent lines, scoring a few commercial plugs on BET, landing a few tracks on Universal Distributed artist Stagga-lee, and countless independent Artists, as well as constantly perfecting his own project. Mr. Low is emerging as one of the premier talents in the industry today. Beginning with his powerful production and as he calls it That neck-deisel MYWORLD Records and Mr. Low are set to emerge from the underground scene and infuse Hip-Hop and R&B culture with that raw N.Y sound that the industry has been missing.
