My Interests

I'm an all singing, all dancing, musical and literary wannabe genius. I like cooking; stationery; making things; collecting things - hats; bags; shoes; jewellery; accessories in general. (I am not a kleptomaniac.) I like sitting by the fire in the winter. Sometimes I'll just get in the car and drive - anywhere, anytime; I love driving down country roads and exploring by myself. I enjoy art galleries, classical concerts, pop concerts, museums, buildings of architectural interest, ruins, history and science. I enjoy skiing/snowboarding, horse riding, walking, badminton, sculling and dancing when I get the chance. I like it when the sun comes out from behind a cloud and you instantly feel warm and happy. I have a penchant for decorating or redoing things; half finished frustrates me. I like photography and painting (badly). I appreciate scenery - I love mountains and the sea, travelling is important to me. I think you should always try new things. I need spontaneity in my life or I feel bored. If someone tries to manipulate me I'll push the other way - I don't like being backed into a corner. I love it when you develop an instant connection with someone within a minute of meeting them; I always talk to people on public transport! I like it when random people smile at me and it makes me smile back. I enjoy a good ol' cup of English tea and lazy mid-afternoon naps.

I'd like to meet:

Television:

Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, Father Ted, Peepshow, West Wing, Scrubs, Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, Red Dwarf, you get the idea. Of course cartoons deserve some mention too - Ren & Stimpy, Futurama, Stressed Eric (that was a legendary cartoon!) Samurai Jack, and Family Guy.

Anything, but a big fan of Ia(i)n Banks!! I also quite like poetry and classics.
