El Nino is an artist who is truly ahead of his time. Only 16 years old, the young phenom from the Dominican Republic has already began to stake his claim as the future of Spanish music. His style blends Hip-Hop, Reggaeton and Salsa to form a genre of music the world has yet to hear.Although this may sound like a hard task for someone who is only 16, Nino is confident that he is going to change the world's perception of musical boundaries; and he is well on his way. This prodigy who began rapping at the age of 12 has accomplished a tremendous amount in his career. He has opened up for Pitbull,Cheka, Mafu Crew, and Guanavanas at the Reggaeton Festival at the Montgomery Fairgrounds on June 26, 2005.El Nino also has an intro on 99.1 WLZL El Zol's "Pedro Biaggi en la Manana" the number one Spanish morning talk radio show in the D.C. metropolitan area, airing at 6-10 am. He is currently in the lab working on his untitled freshman solo LP set to drop early next year.Along with the rest of his NME camp, El Nino's is solidifying his position in the music industry. "I'm going all the way to the top!", said Nino when asked where he felt his prosperous career would take him. Transcending all predetermined boundaries of Hip-Hop and Spanish music, El Nino will surely usher in the next movement in modern music.
