Cartel Rebelz!!!"Don-Berto" 28, a native Bolivian from Virginia and "Buggsy" 28, born in Washington D.C and of Salvadorean decent are the Hip-Hop, Reggaeton duo that makes up Cartel Rebelz. Together they define the true meaning of overcoming obstacles and the struggles that life has thrown at them. Using their Latin background and street Hip-Hop influences creates a distinct blend of both English and Spanish lyrics which is one of the many things that makes Cartel Rebelz such a unique collabo .Cartel Rebelz have always identified themselves as Hip-Hop, putting their life experiences on paper. Their music speaks about the everyday hustle and struggle that people go through. As the Reggaeton movement grew more and more in the States, Cartel Rebelz grew along with it. Encountering new challenges for the group made Cartel Rebelz more open minded about making music.Cartel Rebelz has been opening up for other artists in the industry as well as performing and promoting their own events. The underdogs of the area have completed their "Mix Tape Volume 1" with Midi East’s Texx Sosa which was released in April 2007. On the "Mix Tape Volume 1", Cartel Rebelz gives you a mixture of Hip-Hop and Reggaeton making Volume 1 a collector’s item. Cartel Rebelz are now focusing on their upcoming double cd project which consists of an English and Spanish album.
