About Me

I was born in Louisville, four years before my sister Cynthia, and grew up in London, Kentucky. Contrary to what everyone in Ohio thinks, we had both shoes and running water. I attended Transylvania University in Lexington and graduated with a degree in English in 1997. While at Transy I started dating the lovely and vivacious Alice Van Brunt. We got married in 1999 and moved to Columbus, Ohio. We lived there for six years, during which I worked at a Barnes & Noble and met all kinds of interesting people. In 2005 we moved to Cincinnati, which is where we live now. I recently started grad school, at Xavier University, in order to become a high school English teacher.I know more about comic books than you probably thought there was to know. It's an obsession, but so far not a dangerous one. I am a co-founder of Hex Games, Zimberwack Comics, and spreadtheslack.com.I have no children and no pets.
