A-Dub (Music)

.. Born Augusta Willams Jr. on june 17, 1986 in Houston Texas at Hermann Hospital. A-Dub was raised in Missouri City, Texas with Brother and sister joseph and Jocelyn by parents Augusta Williams and Rhonda Williams He grew up in a loving home with both parents happily married but a-dub was closer with his mother who spoiled him and kept him motivated. Life was ok for him except for the fact that his mother was battling breast cancer which stressed the whole family. in 2001, his mother passed when he was 14 years old and seemed to have ruined his whole existence. He then picked up bad habits such as fighting and drug usage. Through a close friend, he picked up rap which vented his pain of losing his mother. Though he loved his music, Highschool was hell without his mother because he had no will power to succeed. 5 arrests and three drug charges soon came about after highschool. It seemed that he was headed for destruction. God gave him a second chance at life with probation and with a great father, he begin to change his life and pursue his music career. At 18 he begin running the streets with James Prince Jr. the son of James Prince, CEO of Rap-A-Lot Records. Through good friend, Degarian Glover aka D.Glover, James Jr. discovered a-dub..s rap talent and begin putting him to work in various studios. He initially formed a group called the Ghetto Franchise wit friends Mike Hop and Smurph. This was soon to be short lived and ended quicker then it started. A-Dub began his solo career. IN 2006,because of his great potential and determination of D. GLover, he landed a management contract through Southern Empire Ent. owned by brothers Jas and James prince. Through them, he begin building relationships wit artist such as Trae(ABN) who featured on one of his first hits Strictly Business.
