The artist know as D*La Rock was born in Whiteville, NC. Once he discovered he had a talent for entertaining he knew that one day it would turn into a rewarding career. From this discovery he decided that he would never give up on his dream of tomorrow being one of the greatest lyrists of all time.
His inspiration comes from a host of rap legends like Rakim, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Public Enemy,KRS-ONE, Marly Marl, Slick Rick, Tupac and the Notorious BIG. The lesson’s he learned while observing their lives has encouraged him to march to the beat of his own drummer. Fully understanding that faith is enough to encourage self-motivation and self-direction.
