About Me

"Drowning in the sea of love/ Where everyone would love to drown" Stevie Nicks
"Lonely? Maybe, or maybe not it all depends. Your idea, your image, your definition of a friend" - Greg Dulli
"The summer became the fall/ I was not not ready for the winter/It makes no difference at all/ 'Cause I wear boots all summer long" - Stevie Nicks
"FIGHTING FOR PEACE IS LIKE SCREWING FOR VIRGINITY"
I am a soccer fan, film junkie, board game addict, who loves shopping and traveling. I am married to the man of my dreams, and am finally beginning my dream job as a college English instructor. I am indecisive, impulsive (yes, you can be both at the same time), impractical, and impatient; but…I am also generous, loyal, forgiving, and open-minded. I am passionate about dogs, animal rights, and politics. I believe in karma, not judging others, and not taking shit from people - it took over 30 years to achieve this last one.
Things I love: friends that hang out with my man, even when I'm not around; road trips; gambling in Vegas; streams, rivers, whatever - moving water; cotton candy, cupcakes, and pixie sticks; lattes everyday; watching black and white movies on rainy days; having sex in the car on a desert road (after 4 years of marriage); flirting with my husband; singing in the car - loudly; French milled soaps; pretty tea cups; honesty; talking all night; not having to talk; Tiffany boxes; leg rubs; sleeping late; staying up late - alone, watching bad true crime shows and 24 hour political shows; quoting Stevie Nicks; men with brains; going all day without make-up; being tan; the handful of cigarettes i get to smoke each year. My Interests

Bubble gum ice cream, really pretty cupcakes with sprinkles, tulips, Gerber Daisies, Odie, Boston, LA, Clive Owen, Jason Statham, anything 80s, shopping at Sephora (for hours), Boscia skincare, Armani cosmetics, Nanette Lepore clothes, and Francesco Biasia handbags (if there are shoe girls and purse girls, I am without a doubt a purse girl). I adore Cocker Spaniels, Beagles, and just about any dog I've ever met! I collect snow globes and teacups.

I'd like to meet:

Well, I've already met the only one that really matters (see above). Otherwise, Stevie Nicks, Madonna, Clive Owen, David Beckham, Wes Anderson, Zandra Rhodes...I'm sure I will think of more... Anna Wintour & J-Lo so that I can toss paint on their fur coats & Bush, Bill O'Reilly and Ann Coulter so I can yell several obscenities at them.

People who play board games and don't give a shit about winning. Karaoke singers - that suck as bad as I do. Sugar addicts. Drunks that will talk to anyone while singing "you dropped a bomb on me." Puppies with puppy breath who love to give kisses with their velvet tongues. People that argue passionately about their beliefs, and can just as passionately forget that you just argued. Gypsies. People who collect experiences, not just things. Individuals who get as loud as me when they drink.

Music:

Interpol, Radiohead, Editors, Arcade Fire, Elefant, Weezer, U2, PJ Harvey, Bright Eyes, Bloc Party, Snow Patrol, Sebadoh, Afghan Whigs, Rolling Stones, Madonna , Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac, The Smiths, The Cure, David Bowie, Pixies, Garbage, Transvision Vamp,The Talking Heads, The Cars, Peter Gabriel, Echo & The Bunnymen, Billy Idol, The Pretenders, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Men at Work, Van Halen, Guns N Roses, New Order, Depeche Mode, Prince, The Police...this could go on forever...

"Stella"

But she once fell through the street/ Down a manhole in that bad way/ The underground drip/ Was just like her scuba days

At the bottom of the ocean she dwells/ At the bottom of the ocean she dwells/ From crevices caressed by fingers/ And fat blue serpent swells/ Stella, Stella, Stella, Stella I love you

Well, she was my catatonic sex toy, love-joy diver/ She went down down down there into the sea,/ Yeah she went down down down there, down there for me, right
