About Me

I always feel silly when writing about myself. I think it is slightly vain to write all of the good things about oneself, so I can write some truths. I'm 23 years old and I live in Birmingham. My boyfriend's name is Michael and we have been together almost 2 years. He is my best friend, my soulmate and the greatest companion anyone could ever have. I want to do great things with my life, but great things take time to accomplish, which is why I don't feel bad about starting out small. I always wear a brown rubber band on my left wrist. I hate hair emergencies, so I try to aviod them as much as possible (it's brown because it matches my hair). I love purses, shoes and watches because I feel than anyone can wear/use them no matter their stature. I love people and I can talk to just about anyone (and I really don't care where I am). I love to travel and I'm a homebody. I know that is weird. When I go somewhere I like to see things. I feel like I can go to the beach over a weekend. I cherish my days off because they are few and far between. My brother (Zack) is one of my best friends. I think he is one of the most interesting people I have ever met. I love all my friends and they are ones who would stick by me as I have done them. I have 2 dogs and a cat. I like cats better, but dogs are more fun. I love babies. I feel that you grow closer to God through them. I am a devout Catholic and I always will be. My God-Children, Kylie (3) and Kara (infant) are some of the greatest parts of my life. I love Alabama and I miss it terribly. I love football and I miss it as well. College was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I hate to do the dishes, I think it's gross. I like to party, but I also like to curl up and watch movies. I go to the movie theater at least once a week. I'm a horrible bowler. I like to write papers. I hate speaking in public, but I've had to get used to it. I love to have a glass of wine or a cocktail with dinner, but I hate being drunk, and I do not drink often. I also have a hard time deciding where to end things. Ah me.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet anyone. I'm a people person. I love to talk and I can talk to just about anyone.I wouldn't turn down the opportunity to meet any celebrity (as long as they aren't of the creepy variety) if I saw them and they were up for talking or signing autographs, but I wouldn't go out of my way.I would LOVE to meet the Pope and take Communion from him.Most of the people who I would want to meet are dead. Bear Bryant, Audrey Hepburn, JP II, Anne Boleyn, Thomas Jefferson, Mother Teresa, Princess Di, Benjamin Franklin, King Louis XIV, Jesus (obviously), The Romanov family, Elvis, King Henry VIII, George Washington, Marie Antionette, Dolly Madison, Pocahontas, Jane Austen, and I'm sure there are others. I love history, so I'd like to meet just about any historical figure (other than Hitler and Stalin).Sadly, a lot of the people who I would like to meet are fictional. Atticus Finch, for instance. Many Shakespear characters, including Lady MacBeth and Ophelia (crazies!) Harry Potter and his group would be cool to meet. And, above all, Elizabeth Bennett, and Mr. Darcy. I love to visit the world of fiction. It inspires me to know that an author has opened up their heart and soul and invited me into their little world for even a short time. I think it's amazing.Also, for the record, I am using myspace as a way of keeping up with my friends, making new friends, and networking (in that order). That being said, I am not interested in getting any sexual or offensive messages or posts. As I said before, I do have a boyfriend and love him very much. I would not want anything said to make a fool of him, me or us. Thank you in advance for not making me uncomfortable.
