Circuit Breaker

Berlin's Breakbeat Ambassador

About Me

Circuit Breaker is placed at the forefront of Berlins thriving breaks scene with a huge number of 12's and productions securing his place as one of Germanys most prolific producers including a catalogue of more than 150 releases!
His recognition stretches worldwide with releases on major labels Sony, Universal and BMG as well as breaks dedicated labels such as Lot 49, Streetwise, Tagsta, Dangerous Drums, Timing, Vertical Sound and his own Viperjive imprint among many others.
Circuit Breaker bought his first pair of decks in 1986 and has put his 20 years of Djing experience to exceptionally good use. When he holds down the decks he takes control of the room, typically warming the crowd with a vibrant funk-soaked breaks selection before moving into a more tech-driven territory. He is one of the few DJs capable of reading a crowd and giving them what they want whilst maintaining that all important element of surprise. Ask anyone who has been to one of his residencies at the excellent Dangerous Drums parties in Berlin or at the Ocean Club in Zurich Switzerland.
In Germany he has played at every major dance music event: Nature one, Sonnemondsterne, and the infamous Love Parade to mention a few and he DJs regularly across all of Europe. This year will see his sound taking him farther a field with tours of America and Australia.
Highlights from the last year included opening for the Prodigy on thier recent tour of Germany and being the special VIP DJ at Annie Nightingales sunrise morning show on BBC Radio One last September that took place atop the radio tower at Alexanderplatz in the heart of Berlin.
