In June of 2007, she was invited to Washington, D.C. to receive an award for her work combing her music with mental health awareness. Upon her arrival home, Lindsay was contacted by several radio stations and CosmoGirl! Magazine. Throughout the coming year, Lindsay will be embarking on various concert tours of elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as colleges, based on a concept that she created. On a recent tour of schools in Maryland, Mayor Katz of the City of Gaithersburg declared October 5, 2007, "Lindsay Rush Day" in honor of her efforts to help the community’s youth through her music. She has also played several benefit concerts and is constantly involved with different projects to raise funds and awareness for various causes.These days, Lindsay can be found playing shows at some of the country’s most popular venues and events, including The Bitter End, The Tin Angel, World Cafe Live, MilkBoy Coffee, Musikfest. She is consistently in the Top 10 of Pennsylvania-based artists in the Acoustic and Folk-Rock categories on the MySpace music charts. This Spring, Lindsay joined music legends, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, on tour as their special guest. Her fanbase is growing steadily each day and more and more people are recognizing her amazing abilities as an artist, entreprenuer, and activist.
