Cooking, travel, beaches, hiking, experiencing different cultures; good movies, dancing; hanging and just being myself with my peeps.
In my line of work, I'm always looking to network with potential new clients. But I'm also a people person, so I'm always interested in making new friends. We don't have to have the same thought process, but it's nice to have people in my life with at least the same ideals as I do. Old fashioned beliefs without being outdated. I'd like to meet and make friends with people who are into great conversation. Friends that enjoy the simpler things in life, but know when to get crazy without being out of hand. Friends that are mature when need be, but enjoy the exuberance of youthfulness.
I'm kind of eclectic when it comes to music. My absolute favorite is Earth, Wind and Fire-yesterday, today and tomorrow; never been, nor will there be, another set of musicians, vocalists or songwriters that have or will have the same influence on so many cross genres of music. I also love old-school classics...the R&B, dance and disco songs from the late 70's and early 80's. I love neo-soul, jazz, R&B, some hip-hop and gospel.
I enjoy movies like I enjoy music...eclectic. Comedies, some dramas, action-adventures. Not big on horror, but ya gotta throw 'em in every now and then to keep yourself current! LOL.

My mother and my grandparents. They always seemed to be able to make a way out of no way. I will always appreciate them and love them for giving me the best upbringing they could. Of course, we gotta honor all the pioneers of the movement that came before us, and those that are continuing the struggle...more than the Martin Luther King's, Coretta Scott King's and Harriet Tubman's...way too many to mention!
