Born from the cooperation of Fabrizio Agostini (Keyboards), Aldo Sefa (Drums) and Saverio Bartoli (Guitars), Charme get to define their sound by completing the line-up with Francesco Mengoni (Bass) and Rachele Manfredi (Vocals). The new members bring up fresh vital lymph to the compositions, and Charme can clearly state their musical proposal, that can be called a peculiar hybrid between gothic and progressive with a bit of electronic in it. The band collected live experience in summer 2003 and throughout 2004. As a result, the path of the band leads to the recording of the recent auto-produced demo cd "Gothica Prog Poetry" in spring 2005. In september Francesco Mengoni left the band, and the eclectic musician, Mattia Mattei, joins in Charme the new bass player. Gothica Prog Poetry is the first record from Charme so far. This demo consists of 5 songs, all in the vein of Dream Theatre, Planet X, Evanescence and Lacuna Coil. The bands mentioned are the main sources for the bands inspiration. But theres also the personal touch. Charme is not a cover band at all. The 5 songs on the album vary a little in mood and atmosphere. The impression is that the sound is clean and bright and without any flaws. In June 2006, Rachele Manfredi left the band, and after a selection, Charme find in Eva Sestini the new singer. Now the band is working on the new full-lenght, with the combination of Mattia and Eva's voices.
