So right now, my interests?Well I moved to Canada from England back in Feb and currently I'm just enjoying getting know a different country, a different vocabulary, getting to grips with the fact that "pants" are no longer what I think they are, and getting to know some insanely awesome real life canadians/ Americans. Aside from that my passion is music, and anything to do with music and more recently any form of competitive leg to leg combat I can dream up! HaI'll let you into my world a little..... things I love: friends, family, sunshine, grapes, sunsets, motorbike rides, singing, dancing, laughing, sun-bathing, answering telephones, hugs, bare feet on sand and grass (not simultaneously) worship, Australia memories, ghd's, goofing around, travelling, pushing my own limits, cocoa butter, anywhere on the water, Nato's beard, chicken legs, God.
All of my aussie friends (again), I miss you guys heaps!Hmmm who else? I would like to become personally acquainted with both ben and jerry, and anyone who might enjoy doing my assignments for me!?I think the chances of meeting any of my heroes on myspace are pretty limited (not that I'm dissing your site tom!) so maybe I need some new ones-do you have hero potential? If so please enclose a photo and send a large stamped addressed envelope to.......*We regret to advise that unfortunately due to irrevokable circumstances we cannot return said photos to you, so please make sure you keep a copy for yourselves-thankyou!
I'm a pretty ecclectic kinda gal, I'm also a bit of an old skool fan. I like the legends such as Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald, anyone that can really wail gets my vote. I used to front a funk/soul band and so I can't get that out of my system, I'm still a big jamiroquai, chaka, MJ fan to name a few. Other than that I would have to list Mayer, lifehouse, muse, india arie, the kooks, the killers, lauryn hill, imoegen heap, jimmy eat world as some of my faves. But there are many many more....
Hmmm movies? wow north america has gotten to me, I'm calling films movies already?! I LOVE zoolander-probably one of my all time favourites. I think Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are a winning combination in many films. Definitely laughed way too hard at Anchorman and Dodgeball. I think adam sandler is a comedy genius, esp "happy Gilmore". Austin Powers and Wayne's world movies are pretty classic. The rock, Oceans eleven was pretty clever, miss congeniality, dumb and dumber, the lion king-just for the warthog song of course, man on fire, shawshank redemption... Everyone should see "the passion"-truly humbling. And still the mystery lives on...a man wearing more eyeliner than I do strangely attracts me...Captain Jack Sparrow! (sigh) Yes, I loved the pirates films, tho I'm still not sure that they have managed to top the first one-why is that usually the way with sequels?
Really don't have the time, or the patience for tv! (or the license now, Ha!) Having said that my firm faves are 24, Jack Bauer is the man!, smallville, simpsons, and most recently a show called Arrested Development-LOVE IT!
Obviously big shoutout to my bible (bargainous 66 books for the price of one!) I do really quite like books by the author of the Bridget Jones Diaries, her name is Helen Fielding. The most moving book I've read recently is "Redeeming love" by Francine Rivers (I think) I loved Wild at Heart (supposed to be for boys, but I enjoyed it) and Joyce Meyer is usually pretty good too.
Well, obviously the twirls are my favourite heroes, perhaps followed by the Crunchies and then maybe the caramels, on a non-chocolate related note I have discovered I have a lot more heroes than I thought! Obviously the main man, JC, C S Lewis, Robert Ferguson, ummm kinda tacky but Oprah I think she is an awesome woman, Mother Theresa, Smith Wigglesworth and a whole bunch of awesome vocalists!
