About Me

God is continually showing me who He created me to be...I'm still catching on. What I do know is...I love the outdoors. I love travelling. I love going for really long walks in places I have never been. I journal a lot or I go nuts. Also, I love to cook. Music and Dancing are among favorites. I love to laugh. My goal in life is to love God with all my heart, with all my soul and with all my strength. I want my heart to continually shake with violent love. I don't feel alive without it. I sing, play guitar (still learning a lot) and write music. I am in a prayer room (praying, playing and singing to/for a worthy God), working out or taking a long walk, hanging out with family and friends or at work (sales rep @ local paper, in charge of the advertising for my dad's business).

Music:

I have to love the lyrics to a song to listen to it. Music is one of my key on-ramps to worship the Lord with everything in me. I love that feeling when I'm worshipping God, and suddenly I'm overwhelmed because He annointed my heart to feel His love. Those are my head banging moments because I lose any skill of movement I have but I have to move. Genres: My favorites switch day to day, depending on my mood. I usually like something with a beat. If it makes me want to dance, I'm sold. However, if you gave me a week, I could probably go through every genre as a fav at one point or another. Country is rare though and I'm not a fan of heavy metal. I want to go to an opera someday soon.

Movies:

I like movies that make me laugh, make me cry, and good action-suspense movies. I hate thrillers and horror movies or anything else that makes you feel grose and stressed out afterwards. Some of my favorites are: Pride and Prejudice, Braveheart, Anne of Green Gables, The Passion of Christ, and Emma

Television:

I don't watch it much...

Books:

The Bible, "Captivating" and "Waking the Dead" by Staci and John Eldredge, "Fire Within" by Thomas Dubay,S.M. and "The Knowledge of the Holy" by A.W. Tozer

Heroes:

My Jesus. Martyrs. Those who didn't count the cost but called it all lost for the sake of the cross.
