Ant

How are we? Ant here (aka BA, Antoine, or Team Ant depending on who you are). I live in Manchester with a fluffy cat called Chardonnay who leaves fluff everywhere. I don't smoke. And I don't play the guitar. I just hold them.I work at a radio station with some extremely talented nice people. Music is good.I like doing music quizes, going to gigs and listening to music. But I won't bore you with that. I break dance and rap at weekends. But it's just a part time thing I'm trying to cut back on. However, if you're particularly nice I might caterpillar. These days I reserve it for special occasions and scenarios that don't involve concrete.I enjoy trying to do magic tricks when I'm drunk and have a small success rate of amazing people. Small.I run a bit. For those of you who've been following the Team Ant London Marathon Challenge, well you'll be pleased to know I finished, even if it wasn't in the time I'd hoped. Got to 22 miles in about 2 hours and 50 minutes and then my right knee decided it didn't want to play so I ended up limping for the remainder. Please don't kick me if you see me (thanks Kate for that).At the moment I'm particularly enjoying light evenings, butternut squash, the smell of bark chippings, risotto, rocket salad, thinking about playing golf, bagels, humous, vegetable crisps, sqirrels, honey, mustard, pasta, badgers, Soya nuts, and mango chunks. And red wine. Wine is good. I like pubs in the country with log fires. And wine. And hanging out with mates.Talking of cars, I once gave George Best a lift in mine. Really.I get bored quickly and I find it hard to relax. I like to work a lot and do stuff. I may be a workaholic. Not sure what to measure it against, just like to keep busy. I also think I've got that S.A.D. thing where you get depressed in winter when there's no sun. Then again, I might just be grumpy wumpy Ant. Just got back from a weekend in Barcelona at the Spanish Grand Prix. Still need another trip to look forward to. I do like a bit of travelling around. Australia, USA, Sri Lanka, Russia, Italy, Canada, Spain, and France have all had visit from Team Ant. Not great with currency conversion though. Want to go to Chile and India. And my wise last words? Never deny the boogie. Vibrate positively. The planet needs it. x
