In the 3 years that Sinead has been DJing, she has played at renowed club nights including Stylus @The Music Box in Manchester, HomeGrown sessions @The Bomb Nottingham, BabyCream Liverpool, Out of the Gloom @Cord Bar, Silky @ Riverscape Club, Space Manchester, Loaf on Deansgate Locks, Tribeca, Bed, Gaia and Baa Baa in Manchester, Bar Vida Derby and Kushti @ The Wharf Northwich, bringing her love for house music tinged with soulful harmonies to up for it crowds. She has a Friday night residency at Loaf on Deansgate Locks and a Saturday night residency at Bar Below in Manchester's vibrant gay village, which has so far lasted 3 years, whilst her dj mixes have been broadcast on 96.2FM The Revolution Oldham, BBC Radio Manchester, ManchesterRadioOnline.com and Housemusic101.com. Born in Manchester, Sinead hit clubs such as 'Sankeys', and nights like 'Havoc' and 'Tangled' when she was 16, and hasn't stopped since. Sinead has always had a unique taste in music ranging from a childhood adoration of Prince to a teenage love of different genres of dance music, such as techno, house and drum n' bass nurtured by such classic Manchester club nights as Havoc and Tangled.In 1999, Sinead started promoting her own drum n’ bass club night called 'Urban Base' at Kaleida on Oldham Street (now Matt & Phred's) in Manchester's Northern Quarter, a monthly night which pulled in a wide spectrum of people who shared a love of underground music.Whilst at University, she produced and presented the dance show on her student radio station, interviewing such DJs as the Propellerheads, Jacques Lu Cont and Basement Jaxx. She was also chosen to be a student brand manager for the now defunct dance music mag 'Muzik'.House became Sinead’s musical passion, being influenced by Derrick Carter, X-Press 2, DJ Heather, Yousef, and Bob Sinclair who inspired her to begin DJing and share her love of house music with those as fanatical as herself. These artists continue to inspire her style today and she remains active on the dance music scene, having until recently worked in music pr, promoting such artists as Moby, X-Press 2, Depeche Mode, Richie Hawtin, Miss Kittin and Goldfrapp.
