I’m Rob Craine , I currently live on the Isle of Man, and I work in film and television.
I’ve worked on over a dozen productions here which has become one of the British Isles most prolific, and high profile, bases of film activity. I’ve got much experience in many roles such as Production, Locations and Background Casting, and have developed a good relationship with Isle of Man Film Limited / CinemaNX, the island’s film funding initiative. I have also worked with production companies in the UK, my credits including features based in the North West of England and South Wales.
As well as continuing in these roles, I have now also expanded into other fields of production, specifically the areas of conception and development. I am in the process of developing collaborations with UK and US associates on a number of projects.
Additionally I am developing a project, with my screenwriter/PA friend and business partner Jen Govey (Pinewood Studios and My Space member - Jen Filmtopia ) and close friend & business partner Bryant McGill (http://www.myspace.com/bryantmcgill) which will cater for the film industry in a very unique way, and all being well, will go live in early ’09..
I also enjoy my downtime- you’ll find me out and about at the cinema, theatre, listening to music, eating out, the odd pub/club along the way, and if I manage to get a good few weeks, I’ll jump on the nearest plane and go travelling.
