The Molting Vultures

About Me

The Molting Vultures are a 5 piece garage/ psychedlic/ surf/ punk band that make a hell of a racket with fuzzboxes, a theremin and a Farfisa. The MVs will launch an assault on all 5 senses with tunes that often make no sense. Recent gigs include the Radio Birdman support in Adelaide, support for Mach Pelican, support for Guitar Wolf, the Smashed Records 'Smashedelaide' at the Crown and Anchor and the MVs own album launch (with The Ramonettes).
The album 'This won't hurt a BIT...' has had solid airplay on 3D radio andis available online at Smashed Records
Waterfront Records
and Bomp Records
If you like your rock and roll loud, fuzzed out and rolling around in the mud making strange noises, then have a listen to The Molting Vultures.
I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
The MVs "sound like a souped-up hot rod bursting free of the limits of the garage and hightailing it to the nearest surf beach" DB Magazine
"...the soul of rock 'n roll got an energetic boost as the room of the Birm played host to this great band". Pezza, WWW.MYMEANSCENE.COM
"Riot: The Molting Vultures (Adelaide): The woolly grail of punk is here and it’s funny as shit. At least someone knows what they're doing. It’s stupid, yet they say more than most. This should be the national anthem (I'd stand up)" PBS106.7FM

PSYCHO DOG RECORDS

Psycho Dog Records (PDR) is looking to set up something of an anti-label by just putting their name to a heap of bands that can use it to promote themselves in a collective sense and to use the PDR co...

COVERS

I'd rather see a band cover a great song (by the MVs criteria anyway) badly  - than a band that covers a SHIT song well (is that possible)?!!  At least the former can improve - the latt...
