The Frowning Clouds

About Me

On evening of the 7th day the frowning clouds came out to play! The five halflings have quite the obsession with the rythem & blues of old and were summoned from the misty depths of the jungles of Kaonga by king BoBo to show this music to inhabitants of the land of Norm!Aiming to give a heavily Moody, soulful, wild, primative, head boppin’ sound straight from the heart, rolled up into 3 minutes of sound that will release the inner ape within so put down your Nintendo wii’s, forget about channel 9 and come get some.
Primarily about Jangley textures, wild rhythms, throbin’ beats and wishful thinking instead of elongated guitar solos and ponytales we prefer to show what you can achieve as a sect rather than an individual of the group getting the spotlight, and dont say that shits quaint cause it ain't! mother
More nostalgic than retrospective, The Frowning Clouds play 60s Garage, Freakbeat and R&B heavily influenced by the Brian Jones era of The Rolling Stones. They’re here to knock the indie boys of today off their high horse and ride them into the sunset slinging their guns. They resemble something of five teenage apes in stylish 60s threads and act like them too! So let your freak out and get hip to Geelong’s own, The Frowning Clouds! bbbbaby
