'HPR do it very well, making the style very listenable and enjoyable without being too weird and make the average listener switch off in confusion. ' 7/10 PUNKSCENE

'The sampler shows just how versatile and inventive HPR are across just a few songs. First track proper I am woodenbox is just magical.' 8/10 EAST MAGAZINE

'Competent, creative and with enough pizzazz to blow Horse, The Band or The Fall Of Troy out the water, HPR are now so close they must be able to taste the big time. Watch them fly.' MODERATE ROCK

'From their first track ortni (intro backwards) you know you listening to something completely different and highly experimental. Then without knowing it youre thrown into the second track bugz feck off, a mix of powerful screams from front man Jake Armstrong combined with intense break downs which leave you stunned.' 'But from the first song they played, this five-piece proved what their band is all about. With elements from each genre from post-hardcore to experimental to punk its an honest, original sound that might not have appealed to everyone, but did.' 4/5 MESSAMUSIC.CO.UK

'HPR played a very good set, including a new song (Yorkshire), the structure consisted of tapping guitar parts with some heavy breakdowns and a slice of electro. Similar to At the Drive In and Minus the bear, one of the most original bands in the local music scene. Watch out for this band!' BACKBEATBANDS

'Fearlessly experimental and talented these young boyz made everyone in the vicinity shut up and pay attention. Basically they get it spot on with musical ideas that are seemingly ridiculous in brilliantly titled songs such as 'OrangutangOrang' and 'I Am Woodenbox'.'DISORDER MAGAZINE
