About Me

Serafina Studios is a purpose built recording studio based in Eastbourne town centre in Eastsussex by the sea, run by Producer/Engineer Nick Kinnish. Since opening in 2004 the studio has seen over 200 bands and artists come through its doors, over that period the studio and its staff have worked on everything from High quality demo cds through to Worldwide album releases. The studio has become a one stop port of call for a massive amount of the the south east's music scene, aswell as bands coming from all over the UK to work at the studio; The studio's equipment is A class, based around a large format vintage Trident 32 track console and a Calrec Neve style sidecar running into Pro Tools TDM (MIX24) with KRK V8's and Yamaha NS10 monitoring. Together with an excellent selection of Vintage and modern mics to use in the three different live rooms. Nick's most recent projects Include: Architects (Century Media), Colour, Bad For Lazarus (Undergroove), Youves! (Holy Roar), Blakfish(Hassle), Shapes(BSM). The Tupelov Ghost (BSM)

"if we let peoples perception of music drop to such low standards you and I will be redundant eventually, because every know it all motherfucker with a digital eight track will be badly recording his band at home." - in 2005
