White Label TV (WLTV) is the DVD equivalent of a white label 12" (click for definition) : bootleg videos for bootleg tracks. WLTV is also a collective of directors, DJ's and multimedia artists from Montreal and Philly. For this first edition, we've collaborated with Big Dada recording artist Spank Rock to bring you 7 videos for the track 'Put That Pussy on Me' and its remixes. The video styles range from live action pieces (see Spank Rock invade the metros of Montreal), intricate 3D animation to mind numbing collages of pop culture footage (Ice-T and a leperchaun getting high?). Co-Producer System D-128, best known for his live visuals work for his roomate Diplo, brings us Real Seefood: an epic 11 minute chopped and screwed remix of a live Spank Rock performace. As an added bonus we've thrown in 6 bonus videos for the likes of Cuiziner, Ghislain Poirier, DJ Technics, Amerie, DJ Johnny Blaze and Nina Gordon. WLTV has screened at The International Hip Hop Film Fest, Festival de Nouveau Cinema, and appeared in Fader Magazine(#40), and Muchmusic.
