About Me

My first teen novel came out in October, and it's called Get Well Soon . It's a LOL funny book about a teenage girl stuck in a mental hospital. And although it is about struggling with depression, it really is funny, completely relatable, and tres (with an accent) romantic. My first book for little kids, Toby and the Snowflakes (Houghton Mifflin), came out in 2004. Plus, I'm a middle school librarian, so I love to chat about books.Check out lots more about me and my books (and read my much more updated blog) at www.juliehalpern.com
