Miss Bee ...

About Me

Hiiiiiiiiiii ... my name is Sara. I am a singer/songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. I started up this page primarily to network and promote my music (tunes will be up shortly!) and also to stay in contact with mates. I love discovering new music, so I am happy to add new bands and musicians as long as you promise not to spam my page with ad's (that is what you have your own for!!)
I am currently in a electronic duo called LUMIERA with producer/wizzkid/key boi/guitar playing Myke Ireland . Myke and I used to perform together in a progressive house group Red Bee with DJ Andi Red . We had a ball performing at a heap of nights around Melbourne in 2005 - 2006 and supported the likes of internationals such as Dave Seaman, Hernan Catteano, James Zabiela and Nic Fanciulli under the UK's Renaissance banner.
So whats the deal with Lumiera? We are part dark moody trip hop lovers, part rockin dance floor devotees. Melting pot of lots of different influences, passions and interests. We hope to release our first EP this year and return to the stage with a vengeance.
In addition to creating and performing my own music I am very passionate about other singer/songwriters within the electronic dance scene. I have created a column titled "Behind the Mic" of which its primary focus is to draw attention and promote those vocalists and musicians whom I admire; you can check it out at www.centralstation.com.au
Big love and lotso light x Sara
