They call me DiLLa aka Jdub, the founder of Cheque Mate Productions! i started off makin music back in the day when i was in college. I was studyin music but hardly ever went to lessons...the music production room was the only place i ever ended up! Thats where i started learnin the basics and gettin familiar with music programs like Reason and Cubase. Most of the time i was twiss up and just sat there for hours lacing up tracks, bit by bit. Eventually i left and went on to work full time painting bikes and cars....great fun! A year or so went by and i finally scraped some funds together and bought me a laptop along with an MPC1K. What you hear on this page isnt a finished product, its coming straight from my reason file. Theres been no time in the studio yet to master it and lay down vocals. I`ve been workin with lyricists from the Predator Squad/ C+E connect, straight out of northweeezie...Burnt Oak/Colindale represent!! I wana send a special shout out to the C.M.P boys Mr. C, DJ Tren and The PhantomX for doing their thing. Keep that fire coming for the streets!
