Hello and welcome!
We're FirePoise... fire and light dancers based just outside Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Run by Clare Palmer, with lots of help from Lisa Dunne, FirePoise travels around Ireland in our Postman Pat van, dancing and wiggling with fire for lots of different people in lots of different nice places.
Tis fun :)
As well as Lisa and I, FirePoise hire some talented local poi dancers and the occasional performer from Southern Ireland too (when we can get them insured) - but we also bring over some of the best fire performers from England and Scotland to join our crew... Rob Thorburn, Ros Vitkovitch, Paul Durbin (Burnt Toast), Mark Strugnell and Steve Cousins.
We also teach poi workshops in the Crescent Arts Centre (Belfast) on Tuesday nights... and run a fire gathering for anyone interested in poi/staff/fans and other fiery stuff on fortnightly Tuesdays from 10pm (Crescent Park)...
Come along some Tuesday night... sure, what else is there to do on a lovely summer evening?! :)
Anyways... someday I'll do this page up all proper and nice like, in the meantime...
Thanks for stopping by :)

Finally... just down a bit you'll find a lovely new video filmed by David Booth and edited by Sy Taffel.
It was filmed last year at the Giant's Causeway and features Nick Woolsey, Arashi, Andy Hoenigschmid, Lisa Dunne and Clare Palmer... Hope you enjoy it :)
