I'm living in Minneapolis, MN now to go to the U of M!
This is from an article written about the NFG show in Chicago that I played at in April 2005:
"Near the end of NFG's set, the group is joined by Christy Chase, a 14-year-old, fresh-faced blonde who's been following the band since the tour stopped in New York City a couple of weeks ago. "She had a sign that said 'Let Me Play!'" Gilbert explains to the audience. And NFG has done just that, offering Chase a guitar before ripping into "Head On Collision." Chase hammers out rhythm chords and sings along with a look of pure joy. It's a great moment, one that perfectly summarizes everything that kids love about NFG."

This is my band from Powerchord Academy. We kinda rocked. I'm on the right playing guitar. And our band name was Metal Slippers and the song was "Microwaveable Heart".
I am sXe and vegetarian and it pretty much owns. I also like dance parties.
i go to wayyyy to many concerts. but its not a bad thing at all.
I've been to too many countries. but thats not a bad thing either.
I don't like drinking water. and I'm not the biggest fan of hugs.
I hate talking on the phone because I hate awkward silences and my hearing is horrible from concerts and I cant understand people so I say "what?" a lot.
I cant see my walls anymore because of tickets/posters/setlists/picks and other assorted concert memorabilia.
I dont watch too much TV, but I'm slightly addicted to Law & Order, just cause its amazing. and Grey's Anatomy, of course.
I only add people I've met or that I'm gunna meet sometime in the near future. so if I dont accept the add request thats why. but sometimes I forget who I've met so remind me!
o and i pretty much love this song.... a lot. (this is when they played it for me in worcester)
