Dodotopia is a new concept in this music generation. Its sly style and genuine smooth sounds flow through you veins and relax as well as intrigue you. You find your senses withdraw and your mind wander to the mellow undertones and sweet melodies.
Well not really.
This is just some of the music that I've written over a few years as a hobby. I get a buzz out of writing / recording / mixing music, although I tend to spend more time on the mixing process with other people's music than my own. Can't really say what my influences are. I often find people say their music sounds like this band or that. Once someone said their music was like "Tool but with piano", which I found pretty hilarious.
We all like to compare someone else's music to something familiar, I do it aswell, it helps our need to classify things. People have compared my music to so many different things (some I'd never even heard of) from Pink Floyd, Tool, to Jethro Tull (don't ask me). And while each time I am humbled by being compared to such fantastic artists, I can never hear it myself.
In the end I'd rather let whoever listens decide, and if you should happen to enjoy the music, well that's the best compliment of all.
