Puerto Rico native Samantha Love was destined to be a star from an early age. Films and television have fascinated her since she was a little girl. Defying all conventional parameters, she decided to take action and began a career that has given her the opportunity to shine with the stars. Samantha’s career began at WAPA-TV Channel 4 in San Juan. It was at WAPA that Samantha utilized her skills as a makeup artist, becoming the toast of the city. By following the advice from renowned colleagues, she became one of the most sought after professionals in San Juan, earning the trust of Puerto Rican television celebrities such as: Alba Nydia Diaz, Giselle Blondet, and Sully Diaz.By 2000 she was ready to take on a new challenge in her career: A stand up comedy called “Nosotras de…Jolgorio,” along with Judith Pizarro and Luisa De Los Ríos. Samantha started creating stand up comedy scripts based on her own real life experiences, thrilling audiences with her skills as a writer. Everything else that came along her way, such us the creation of a character called “Shana Lengua Larga” were guaranteed successes. Besides her credits as an actress, writer, and producer, Samantha has lent her image to TV commercials and musical videos, such as Wisin and Yandel’s.1997 was a pivotal year for Samantha: She participated in morning radio show “El Expreso X,” with her own segment called “Querida Samantha”. The audience anxiously waited to get Samantha Love’s advice. She became one of the most controversial and sought after radio personalities in Puerto Rico.After two seasons, Samantha ventured into Puerto Rican television. Thereafter, she participated in TV programs with high audience ratings such as: No Te Duermas; Mira Que Te Veo; Ahora Podemos Hablar; Al grano con Zervigón; Super Xclusivo; Zumbate; and the Batalla de los Sexos. Afterwards, she worked as a producer and hostess of the first rap and Reggaeton TV show called “In Your Face”. She was also part of theatrical plays like: Nueve Semanas y Medias, Xica Da Vieques, y En PelotasHer first foray into the world of daytime drama was with renowned producers Angel Del Cerro, Rafo Muniz and Silverio Perez.Theater and the stage is Samantha’s first love. The flexibility and art of gender illusion paved the way for her with success. She has tastefully portrayed the ultimate divas of show business: From rocker Alejandra Guzmán,,Celine Dion,Diana Ross Ednita Nazario, Gloria Trevi, as well as Thalia, Jennifer Lopez, and Olga Tanon. Her beauty secret is enjoying what she does. Nowadays, she dedicates her life to finishing her own biography and producing night club events. She is a bird lover. Cuando logró llegar a la televisión en el 1989 como maquillista de Wapa Televisión aprovechó la oportunidad para aprender todo lo relacionado a la actuación a la vez que arreglaba a actrices como Alba Nydia Diaz, Giselle Blondet, y Sully Diaz, para produciones como “Karina Montaner” y “Aventurera”. Sus primeros pasos en la televisión fueron de la mano de su primer jefe y productor de telenovelas Angel Del Cerro y también de la mano de los productores Rafo Muñiz, y Silverio Perez. Lleva 18 años en el arte del transformismo y en el 1989 hizo el doble de Gisselle Blondet en la telenovela Karina Montaner. Samantha ha sido imitadora de grandes artistas como; Alejandra Guzmán,Celine Dion, Charytin,Diana Ross, Ednita Nazario,Gloria Trevi,Gloria Estefan,La Lupe, Thalia, Selena, Madonna, Marilyn Monroe, Yolandita Monge, JLO, Olga Tañon,Don Omar,Calle 13 entre otras. En el 1997 participó en la radio en el programa mañanero “El Expreso X”, con su propio segmento “Querida Samantha” en el cual el radioescucha esperaba para recibir los consejos de Samantha Love, un personaje que trascendió en el país creando la controversia a través de sus consejos. En la radio se mantuvo por dos años. También participó en los programas de mayor audiencia en la televisión puertorriqueña tales como;El show de Cristina, No Te Duermas, Mira Que Te Veo, Ahora Podemos Hablar, Al grano con Zervigón, Super Xclusivo, Zumbate, Batalla de Los Sexos,Escandalo T.V. y LOVE&SEX entre otros. Surgió como co - animadora del primer programa de rap y reggaeton llamado “In Your FACE” por tres años. Participó en obras teatrales como: Nueve Semanas y Medias, Xica Da Vieques, y En Pelotas. Emprendió un nuevo reto en su carrera en el 2000 junto a las primeras actrices Judith Pizarro y Luisa De Los Ríos, en una comedia llamada “Nos-otras de... Jolgorio! De allí en adelante la artista se dedicó a crear libretos de comedias basados en la vida real, y en sus propias vivencias dando paso a un segundo personaje “Shana Lengua Larga”, el que se creó para el periódico de ambiente gay teniendo tanta aceptación que el personaje causo un gran interes por el que no leia el periodico. Después del éxito de Shana surge “Chucha fiers”, “La reportera preña”, “La Tekarapzi” y muchos más. Samantha ha escrito libretos para varias personalidades y creó bromas para varios programas locales. Hizo trabajos para comerciales y videos musicales tales como: Don Q Cristal y el primer video musical de Wisin y Yandel (girla). Actualmente se presenta con gran exito en el club Azucar en Miami,dedica su tiempo libre a culminar su biografía y visitar varios estados presentando su show en clubes nocturnos. Se identifica con el águila pues vuela tan alto como su espíritu. Ama la buena comida y no cree en las dietas. Su gran meta es llevar alegría a los más necesitados.
