Hailing from Collingwood ON, Malleus is comprised of four members. Darin/Beardo on bass guitar. Shawn/Bucky on lead guitar. Drew/Stew on rhythm guitar and vocals. Adam/Riff on drums. Malleus has been working together as a unit for 4 years now. Their music consists of a wide range of material derived from an array of influences. In writing songs that you could take home to mom like Hidden thoughts. To full force progressive rock assaults like The Wreck. Malleus has obtained a variety of listeners in their following.Achieving their win in the 2006 Local and loud competition at the Foundation night club in Barrie ON They faced 64 other bands to rise victorious and win the recording of their debut album In Time. Their first single Pennies and Opinions ran the gamut on Barrie radio station ROCK 95 (95.7 FM) top 7 at 7 countdown. (The 7 most requested songs of the day) To finally reach 1. Other stations have started to pick up the song as well. Including 102.1 the edge and 99.5 the moose.Malleus have rocked the best of the best locations in Central Ontario including Molson Park, El Mocambo, Leeâ€™s Palace, 360, The Reverb and the Foundation Night Club just to name a few. Malleus are well on their way to becoming a recognizable force so get prepped to use your ears.

Sounds Like: Take the subtleties of an acoustic performance complete with soft, warm vocals, earthy tones and perfectly placed notes and toss it into a chaotic blend of powerchord heavy guitars, thunderous rythyms, crafty and very original leads and a vocal chord- ripping vocalist and you come up with a sound, known to some, undiscovered by most, (but not for long), called MALLEUS.
