Not too long after the split of his previous band None Intended, Jan De Sorte, (lead guitar) founded a new formation together with old friend and rhytm guitarist Joost Smet, young talent Yannick De Clerck (drums) and allrounder Mathijs Dhoey (bass). Around may 2005 the foursome from Beveren-Waas began to write and rehearse their new material with intense motivation. In the spring of 2006 they finally found the perfect vocalist in Jim tv’s veejay Niko Van Driesche who’s five year contribution to poppunk band Nailpin earned him fame and recognition throughout the belgian punk/rock scene. About 6 months later the band put out a demo cd called Better Safe Than Sorry which contains 5 carefully crafted songs that come straight from the heart. During the following summer they recorded their first official single Temporary Living aided by producer Frans Vermast, known for his work with Heideroosjes and Nailpin. Temporary Living sounds like pure, raw powerrock and is backed by a kick ass video which was shot at the end of august in an abandoned youthcentre. Last fall the rockers also toured belgium's biggest media stores to promote the videogame Jam Sessions by Ubisoft. This whole setup revolves around the mellow and heartfelt accoustic song 'Save Yourself' which can be found on the game's soundtrack. Recently the band released Temporary Living on Jim TV and already the video got numerous airplay and a number 1 spot in the 'Puur Belgisch' charts. In the very near future they are planning on releasing their single on national radio and record a brand new EP with a great variety of some of their latest supercharged songs. Just keep on supporting these young musicians along the way and see what good things the future may bring!
