Always happy to watch old South Park episodes. Curb Your Enthusiasm incites deeply ceded eruptions of uncontrollable laughter, too. To Catch A Predator is pretty awesome too, if you can look at it through the lens of a social scientist and not that of a scared parent.
I think it's important to have a vast canonical background, but at the same time, why should generations and generations adhere to the works of a select few? Oftentimes the results are hegemonic. Moreover, my likings are transient--that is, they change by the season. I was sad to part with the new compliation of Roy Blount Jr., Long Time Leaving: Dispatches From Up South when the library told me it was due. If anyone can help, I'm searching for US-Mexican borderland literature... lemme know if you have suggestions.
