I am here for Friends

About Me

Let's see . . . I live in St. Louis with my wonderful boyfriend, Paul, our darling son Dalton, and our oh-too-cute Pit Bull mix, Jessie. Mommyhood is AWESOME. I cry every day b/c I love my son so much.Music is a huge passion for me, and because of this, I will tell you if your band sucks.I couldn't live without Steak and Shake, yarn and needles, Lucky Boys Confusion, NPR, Irish Car-bombs and girls that can shoot 'em with me, a kitchen to bake bread in, Napa Trucks, my i-Pod, my big sister, my hippie, or my mom. Now that list sums it all up.

My Interests

Rock!!! Besides that, dancing my ass off, having a good drink with better friends, artsy towns, being creative, yummy natural/organic foods, knitting, bread baking, reading, watching daytime tv, exploring the world.

I'd like to meet:

Just looking to make friends of any sort, well, not the fake/shallow sort, but all other sorts! I like to talk to people who read, laugh at dark/dry comedy, are trying to really LIVE. I try to avoid negative, toxic, or passive people. They're all no good for me.View All Friends | View Blog | View Pics | Add Comment

Music:

311, Adair, Beatles, Beck, David Bowie, Dog and Everything, Cardigans, Clever, Dayslost, Disturbing the Peace, Dropkick Murphys, FPM, Foo Fighters, Guano Apes, Ha Ha Tonka, Illijah, Incubus, Jet, Kill Hannah, Killers, Lars Fredrickson and the Bastards, LiVE, Lojic, Lola Ray, Lucky Boys Confusion, Ludo, Motion City Soundtrack, Shawn Mullins, Nirvana, NoFX, Operation Ivy, Poor Man's Vision, Pillbox, Pomeroy, Postal Service, Rancid, Revolution Smile, Reel Big Fish, RJD2, Saves the Day, Silverchair, Skindred, Smashing Pumpkins, Swizzle Tree, The Urge, The Used, Thursday, Tiny Red Spiders, Vast (Sorry for the short version)

Movies:

Ehhhhh, I watch 'em when they're on. The list is mostly kid's movies anyhow.

Television:

I watch PBS at 2 in the morning. Lots of CNN. I've begun falling victim to daytime TV. Wayyyyyy to much kid's TV.

Books:

I absolutely adore Sandra Cisneros' "The House on Mango Street." The works of Ayn Rand are equally amazing. Everyone should read "Catcher in the Rye" at least 3 times in their lives: before your 16th birthday, while you're 16, and sometime afterward. It's a roadmap to your growth into an adult. I could blabber on and on about literature forever, but I won't . . . right now.

Heroes:

Blah
