For over 7 years, Joseph DeLeon's passion for the radio industry has made a distinct mark in his life. Starting radio at 15 at Mix 107.9, Joseph has not only learned the art of radio, but the art and IMPORTANCE of VOICEOVER as well. Soon after Mix 107.9, Joseph moved on to Clear Channel's HOT KISS 106.3 and WILD 104. On Kiss, he assumed the position of Imaging Director and Afternoon Drive Host. Joseph's personality both on and off air, has provided structure for the building-block of a successful career in the broadcast field. At age 20, Joseph DeLeon moved to Los Angeles, California to be a part of the 2nd largest radio market in the United States. Working with Ryan Seacrest, Ellen K, JOJO on the radio and some of the best on-air talent and producers in the industry, Joseph developed a more signified interest and appreciation for radio. In late July 2006, Joseph accepted an afternoon drive position in South Louisiana on Mix 96. As of January 2007, Joseph temporarily shut down voiceover operations of Calibur - X after the decision to pursue his dream of government employment. Though it came as a shock to those receiving services from Calibur - X, the purpose for the tempoary shut down was well respected from both affiliates and customers of The X. Having OVER 25 clients, in 4 countries within 3 continents ... Joseph developed his voiceover business "World-wide," and has it in the plans to continue serving the air waves soon. Through continued support and affiliation with Vicious V. (STUDIO V2) and Bobby Macias (MIX MASTERS), the team that with just a little motivation and a passion for voice, started production companies of their own, the trio have agreed to one day again partner up with a vision of reaching the masses in the field of specialization for each agency. Until then, we hope for a very safe return from military deployment for Joseph DeLeon. God Speed! CALIBUR - X --- " POWER has a VOICE! "
