About Me

My book is available in paperback on Lulu and Amazon.com!

This is the title for my next book. Visit my Wealth blog and Politics and Culture blog on Blogger.com! I also write news articles at Groundreport.com. My main home page is at Geocities.com/RitalynmanI was born and raised in the foothills of the Appalachians in southern Ohio, so living in the Phoenix area is like living in a foreign country. If I had one wish, I wish I was a native here.
Other than that I'm a normal guy-I love hiking, swimming, Diamondback games, and latin dancing. Not too much bothers me since it shouldn't--Solomon says it's all just vanity anyway, and he would know.
I don't like people who put on a show, but if you're not a poser, we can be friends. I'm not really seeing anyone at the moment, but I might be persuaded under the right circumstances.
I live with as much passion as possible, so if you are looking for wine-tasting advice, forget it. I prefer the top of Camelback mountain or a good salsa beat. I love music and movies. Mostly, I am looking for something worth fighting for. I haven't really found it yet, but I have been known to pick a few fights, especially recently.
Fortunately, I try to stay pretty close to God, so He has my back (Living Word Bible Church is my favorite place in the whole world). It's a pretty good relationship, and He has been a good friend, better than the people around me have. Not that I don't have good friends, mind you. I have the best friends in the whole world, minus a couple of bad apples(they're my favoites).
Right now, I spend a lot of time on my writing, my friends, and singing in the choir. I can't wait to see what's next.
Thought you might want to know that....

My Interests

Salsa dancing, hiking, salsa dancing, movies, salsa dancing, music(especially salsa music), salsa dancing, college football(Go Bucks!) salsa dancing, writing, salsa dancing, photography, salsa dancing(OK, OK--I like a little bachata and cha-cha as well). Other than that, mostly salsa dancing.

I'd like to meet:

Creative people, anyone who is passionate about their life. Real people. I have come to find out there are lots of people in the world I would like to know.
It would be cool to meet RBD, T-Bone, Shakira, or Mandy Moore.

Music:

In case you can't tell, I love almost anything latin flavored--I even like reggaetone(love most Daddy Yankee songs) Shakira, Santana, Los Lonely Boys, Jump 5, Thalia, the Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkson, for old school moods, ELO and ABBA. I love Carmen, and T-Bone(GospelAlphaMegaFunkyBoogieDiscoMusic and Bone-A-Fide are killer albums) and occasionally a country song--I have to be careful, too much country music causes me to break out in a rash.

Movies:

It's a wonderful life(the greatest movie ever), Gladiator and Gladiators, Radio, Highlander, Schindler's List, Forest Gump, Band of Brothers, Chronicles of Narnia, Butterfly Effect, Seven, Seabiscuit, Superman Returns, 300.

Television:

News junkie, History Channel, Real world, American Idol, I gave up on 24 again after they ended the best part of the story line.

Books:

The Bible, The Dream Giver, Think and Grow Rich, The Greatest Salesman in the World, The Richest Man in Babylon, The Oath, The 21 Irrefutable laws of Success(John Maxwell is awesome), Wild at Heart. Oh, and this great new book, "The Runner's Guide to the Universe". I know the author, and he's an incredible guy.

Heroes:

Superman and Underdog are on my list, but Jesus is the one I want to grow up to be like.

Hustling for Love

OK, we have to talk.  We have a problem, me and you.  Normally I am spending my time fuming about the "system" and for most of you that has been pretty impersonal.  This blog is not lik...

More Stupid America Tricks

Well, it's tax time, the one time of the year when the nation of America leaves no doubt it's pretty nigh useless.  Let me tell you how I've spent my day off, and I think you'll agree. I am tryin...

It’s not all bad.

I will never be the typical Amercan.  But that doesn't mean I am anti-American, I'm just anti-Amercan culture.  There's a world of difference.  And it's not that I'm some kind of bitter...

You can’t handle the truth...

Now that most of the heavy lifting for my book is done, I get to do the crazy stuff.  After all, the entire premise of my book is that humanism has taken over America and is well on its...

Time for me to fly.

It's the holiday season, and the good cheer is spreading...especially to the criminals in New York who just drained my bank account of $502 dollars today.  It is, as the old proverb goe...

Coming to an end.

At this point, I consider some of my views pretty radical, at least as far as history and culture go.  But I am on the last stages of my book, so I might as well add a little more fuel to the fir...

Headaches

You have no idea how happy I was to be able to go dancing Sunday.  I had hardly been out all summer, and I needed to do something before I went crazy from doing research.  I miss my fri...

At least I hope the end is near.  It's been almost 3 months since I graduated, and I am just now starting a new job...it's not great, but it's not bad either, and it's interesting work.  Unf...
