So youve stumbled across my Myspace site. Well im Brian, I also go by the name B_rian. (thats like saying the letter B then the name Ryan. I also go by the name Mr. Calti B. Im a musican, I play Jazz Guitar. I'm also a classical singer. Im a Baritone range singer and will actually be performing in Prague in the summer. Im also studying piano which im becoming very good at. Im starting to do alot of work on the piano by myself and have been having so much success.
Im a Music Education major at Hartwick College in Oneonta NY. Thats way upstate for all you people who dont know where Oneonta is. While at music school ive learned how to play a clarinet, sax, flute, all the percussion instruments, drum set, trombone, trumpet and im going to be working on the stringed instruments next. I am hoping to try and find a group to be able to tour with for a year or two before starting graduate school. I really would like to have the experince of performing constantly and be able to get into the music world a bit before getting a masters in something.
Eventually I would really like to be able to get a possition as a Jazz Proffesor and direct a jazz band. Ive also become quite a skilled conductor which I will probably be persuing in the future.
So ive discovered this wonderful instrument (which my dad had an never told me he had) which is an accordian!!!!. By far one of the niftiest little things ever. Also I didnt realize the traditional music of Chile, my home country, uses a ton of accordian. This has been my new instrument im learning

My Interests

Im an outdoors kind of person. I've gone camping so many times in my life I cant keep count. I have also gone fishing so many times in my life that the trips are all starting to blend together. So im actually an Eagle Scout too. That took so much work but has paid off so much.Right now im working on getting the backround needed to be a music teacher. Im thinking about teaching in college rather than the High School level which im getting certified right now. Thats the plan for the future, teach during the school year then have the summers off to play gigs. Im also thinking about trying to tour with a band for a year after college is over.Im what you would call a Tea expert. Ive actually created some great blends. Now my dream job would be a tea trader. Mabey even own a tea plantation in India. You know after water, tea is the most popular drink in the world.
