TINEKE inTOWN
Hello, welcome to inTOWN MANAGEMENT. Below you will find a little introduction about my work:
Started out with a passion about anything funky and groovy, but most of all Hiphop.
Organizing events and tours for over 14 years, in 1998 I decided to start my own company. Not only producing events for others, also starting up own productions. This, trying to spread good music with a good atmosphere. Therefor my company T-Time Productions was one of the first to present styles like 2-step and UK Garage.

With my event called 'Exhale' I booked 2-step / UK Garage acts like Artful Dodger, Zed Bias, Mickey Simms, Wookie, Femme Fatale were introduced to the Netherlands. This was the late 90-ties.

I organized events in great clubs like the ' Melkweg' (Milkyway) and made program for big Mojo's festivals like the "Drum Rhythm Festival" and Lowlands . During this period I also kept promoting hiphop in The Netherlands. I organized urban festivals and I also organized the 10-year anniversary of famous hiphop bar "De Duivel" in my name.

HIPHOP LATINO
Main interest always has been "funk" music, especially hiphop.

But also focusing on anything new, different in the mix of styles, I started organizing a very special night that nobody had ever heard of: the weekly night of the Melkweg called Que Pasa? based on a unique concept that blends several styles glued together by Spanish Language. This style is also called Mestizo.

Que Pasa became an instand succes and was the place where I got introduced to reggaeton.

WORLD MUSIC
After putting this concept on the Dutch music market, it was time to move on. In June 2005 I changed scenery and started working for World Connection . I was the production manager of this agency and label working with great artists like Sara Tavares .

REGGAETON
Meanwhile I also started the first Dutch Reggaeton website www.reggaeton-music.nl ) and tried to promote and help reggaeton in the Netherlands by motivating artists and DJ's.
In 2006 quit my job being the production manager of tours of World Music artists, and now am giving all my time to mynew company called inTOWN .
inTOWN promotes urban music with a non-western twist. Meaning promoting styles like Hiphop Latino, Reggaeton, African Hiphop etc.
I went back to organizing the weekly Mestizo night 'Que Pasa', but most of the time I spent my energy in being the manager of Dutch/Dominican Reggaeton group Ghetto Flow. I 'found' them in 2005 and launch them in January 2006, working hard on their career which paid off with many gigs, interviews and even a showcase at Midem .
inTOWN was going to release their debut album in order to get the attention of bigger record companies to take over what inTOWN had started. But just before Midem I had to decide that however I believed in the talent of this group, they were not ready, so I ended my working relationship with them. Still proud of what ever we accomplished together in 2006! inTOWN managed, booked and promoted the group without budget, but own skillz to make it happen!BALKAN BEATZ
In 2006 the Balkan Beatz caught my attention. It started in Berlin, but already in 2005 Que Pasa hosted "Russian Disko" which was quite simular to what Balkan Beats became later. For two dutch DJ's I started the BALKAN BEATZ brand name and gave face to their style: I designed their logo, website, and promoted them every where on the net. I also organized the new weekly club night "Propaganda", but always with the intention to only start it up for others to take over. And so it happened.
CROSSMEDIA & MUSIC
Promoting parties involves using all means available. So, over the years I have learned how to use the internet and other media the best possible and with my own skills. In 2007 first I was spotted by Adidas and later by Dutch television and interactive company IDTV. For the last I started as Project Manager Internet, but soon got scouted as a crossmedia concept writer. In music I focus still on the now Monthly club night Que Pasa. Meamwhile I also have set up a fashion line with my own designs called Urban Latina and soon I will also produce clothing for Latino's.
With inTOWN I can be booked for many things:
- Event Production
- Bookings & Programming
- Artist Management
- Crossmedia concept developing
- Project Management Internet
- Brand Management.
