Utterly unique and exceptionally original Jules is the REAL thing. Her persona, her lyrics, her voice and robust musical talent have raised the bar in the industry. Where were they hiding this girl?, Charlie Pederson of the Montreal Jazz Festival...Biography / QuotesBIOGRAPHYSince the age of seven, Jules has studied classical and jazz piano, alto and baritone saxophone and guitar. She is a Vocal Performance Major graduate at the Berklee College of Music Program. She has been performing from east to west throughout Canada ever since.
Attracting audiences of all ages is an illustration of her ability to target all styles with lyrics relating to almost each individual. "Simply, this is me" she would say up front. Jules has a confident, positive and down-to-earth attitude. She is constantly active and resistant to sitting still. Her music is influenced by her active life, outdoor lifestyle and simply living well. She has been living and performing in Montreal to Vancouver, visiting mountain towns in The Rockies through to Kelowna along the way. Her ability to perform solo to a full piece band along with her diverse musical ability is just the beginning of her talent. Along with backcountry skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing, surfing and biking (and her 1980 Westfalia van) she is a force to be reckoned with.
In 2004, Jules added music festivals, in British Columbia, to her tour roster including, Vancouver, Vancouver Islands, Kelowna, Revelstoke, Golden and Nelson as well as Banff Alberta. Jules, currently, performs solo, duo and has coined together a pretty killer band, "Twelve Bullets"!!! Jules is a natural performer who plays for the people.Last October, Jules caught the attention of MTV, while performing and sat down with them for an interview on Canadian talent. She has been written up in several newspapers in and around Vancouver and Montreal. Her amazing performance at The Montreal Jazz Festival, in the summer of 2003, was just one of the reasons she has been catching everyones attention.
Currently she is residing and performing in Vancouver, BC and making her mark in the music scene. You can catch her performing with her in full power packek action band 'Twleve Bullets'..
