About Me

I grew up in the Baltimore-Washington area. I am the middle of five children. My parents are Scottish. It was a very practical home. I'm a Catholic by birth, a non-believer by choice. I have worked for the State Highway Administration for 18 years, mostly doing computer and mapping work. Ironically enough, I don't own a car. I have commuted by bicycle off and on for years and I know the Baltimore bus system pretty well. I rent cars when I need them. I have always loved music and dancing, and through hard work and luck,I am now part owner of a music club. It has been an amazing experience and I'm proud of what we have made. I like living in the city. I like visiting the country. I received treatment for Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma three years ago and I am still in remission.

My Interests

Watching TV, reading, finding new music I like, riding my bicycle, being in really warm sun on really cold days. Surviving cancer.
