About Me
PLEASE DO NOT AUTO-APPROVE FRIENDS OR COMMENTS THAT IS WHY EVERYONE IS GETTING PHISHED. IF YOU HAVE COMMENTS ON YOUR PROFILE THAT SEEM TO BE THE WORK OF A MALICIOUS SP@MBOT, I MAY BLOCK THEM AND YOU WITHOUT WARNING. R@P AND 3MO PEOPLE PLEASE FUCK OFF.Hi and thanks for coming! If you like what you hear, feel free to add a song to your profile!
NICE TO KNOW MY REMIXES ARE ENJOYED AND TAKEN SERIOUSLY... FOR EXAMPLE:
INFORMATION SOCIETY have placed one of my remixes on their official website. Go give it a listen, and add their official myspace as well.
I guess they like the way I "WERK IT"!
I make remixes, original music, and continuous mix cd's - in that order. I do it all on my mac, and I get less sleep than I ever did.
LOOK - I am primarily a photographer. My website is louisguidone.com
It is not just my photography portfolio anymore, it now includes both sound and vision.
I photograph alot of the shows I go to at small underground venues in NYC. For example:
Noisex Live Pics
Prometheus Burning Live Pics
Chemlab Live Pics
I also have a section of my website devoted to my photographs of concerts I attended.
On 9/30/06, over 2100 people saw my photography on display at the Dark Arts Festival, and I got to hang out with Eskil from Covenant for a few minutes after soundcheck. That was my only unobstructed view of the stage until morning. Very cool. Also there that night - ADAM X, Imperative Reaction, Rotersand, and Snog. So basically, I was part of a major scene event as a v.i.p. that included two of my favorite things - electronic music and visual arts (and drink tickets lol). Thanks to Justin and Tom from Terminal Thunder / Chamber for making it possible. Wish I spent more time backstage.
I also did a solo exhibit at BYTE on Sunday, July 8th, 2007. The crowd was quite kinky.
I have 2 pictures in the Leaether Strip Limited Edition Box Set Faetish/Haelloween Booklet. (2,000 worldwide, HURRY)

(I'm available for remixing, compilations, club, radio, and internet radio play!)
Let me know if you need a remix. The blog explains more.
About the current tracks:
Shooting Laser Beams Remix - Contest entry. The Secret Meeting are Karin and Statik of Collide with Dean Garcia of Curve.
CONFUSION RMX is a remix I made of CONFUSION by NEW ORDER some time ago. They along with Joy Division and Depeche Mode are very high up on my list of personal favorites.
r180 is an early version of my original r630 in its early stages, with vocals. I made a video for it as well, friends only.
r630 edit is my original instrumental that appeared on my private profile for quite a while. It is one of many versions of the same song I created minus movie samples or vocals.
They are my 2 favorites from the cycle.
And the 5th song... (scroll down on the player if you use a large font or you may not find it)
Pull The Plug is one of mine as well... It's not really about people trying to take over 'the scene' but I see how it could be misinterpreted that way, years after it was made. It's more about conformity in general.
Everything is download disabled because I don't want my original stuff distributed for free on the net, and neither do the original artists I have remixed, I can surely imagine.
If any of the original artists I have remixed want to feature what I have done on a release or if your legal drones want to be pricks demanding track deletion, contact me directly. They were remixed either out of respect or with permission.
Feel free to add them to your pages to help promote the bands and the work I did too!
Your comments and remix requests are appreciated. Don't do the typical 'thanks for the add' routine, tell me what you think!
I listen to electronic, experimental, sound collage, noise, techno, acid, industrial, synthpop, gabber, idm, ebm, new wave, good classic rock, Beethoven, gothic, gothic rock, and so on... and have for a long time. I especially like bands on the labels DSBP, Some Bizarre, Metropolis, Nilaihah, Alfa Matrix, Wax Trax, Mute, Van Richter, Primordial, 21st Circuitry, Ant-Zen, Hive, Factory, and so on... as well as many right here on myspace and elsewhere on the web that are still unsigned either by choice or not.As an old-schooler with taste, I encourage label people to check out Anti-Mechanism. I am very impressed with their vision, expression, and determination. They are working on their first full-length CD. They will be opening for Haujobb this summer on tour, and I encourage you to not only listen to and add them, but also to check them out live if you can.
People have asked me who some of my favorite bands are, so here's a few:Human League, Talk Talk, Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd, Yaz, Recoil, Skinny Puppy, Front 242, Kraftwerk, Throbbing Gristle, Chris and Cosey, Coil, New Order, Joy Division, Rozz Williams, Covenant, Noisex, Information Society, Cabaret Voltaire, Soft Cell (Marc Almond and Dave Ball) and so on...
Thanks again.Good to have you here unless you are a total asshole or bot.My name is alot easier to remember than this guy's too.
