About Me

Quick Bio: I spent the first 4 and 1/2 years of my life in Philadelphia,PA, then moved to Boulder, Colorado with my parents and brother in 1976. My brother is 15 days older than me (we are both adopted). Grew up in Boulder, but managed to avoid eating excessive amounts of granola, wearing Birkenstocks, smoking hookas, and chanting while burning incense and smoking pot. I moved to Ft. Collins for college where I earned a B.A. in Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences with 3 minors...Psychology, Sociology, and Criminal Justice. I moved back to Boulder after graduation, and worked as a felony offender probation officer for several years. I had always been fascinated the paranormal, but never really delved into it seriously until after my father passed away in October of 2004. I needed closure desperately after losing him. He was my idol, my mentor, and one of my best friends. I went to my first Ghost Hunter University 6 months after his death, and have been working with Haunted Times Magazine ever since. Today, I am the Director of Marketing, Events, and Administration with Haunted Times Magazine, as well as a paranormal investigator and EVP Analyst for the company. My biggest joy is helping those who have lost someone close to them find some closure with their loss, as I was able to find with mine.

My Interests

I have many interests, but I would have to say that my biggest passion is what I do for Haunted Times Magazine. I'm on a kickball league (yes...KICKBALL), and we are really very terrible, but it's a lot of fun. I like music and poetry...really any kind. I LOVE gambling when I win...Vegas is just so...beautiful (sniff). CU BUFFS FOOTBALL KICKS ASS - I bleed black and gold.

I'd like to meet:

Ideally...Viggo Mortensen. Realistically... fellow paranormal investigators and friendly people who have an open mind, a sense of humor, and wit. Oh, and good hygiene is always a good thing.

Music:

Really anything that I can sing or dance to. My secret music love is John Denver. No, REALLY! Well, it's not secret anymore, now is it???

Movies:

I have too many favorites to list.

Television:

I actually don't watch too much TV, but when I manage to turn it on, I LOVE tunning in to those true crime shows, like The First 48 (A&E) and Autopsy (HBO). I also really like Intervention (A&E), The Sopranos, and OF COURSE my wonderful friend Chip Coffey's show PSYCHIC KIDS - CHILDREN OF THE PARANORMAL!!!

Books:

I used to read...now I just listen to dead people's voices.

Heroes:

My father...he taught me so many things, but most importantly to never hate anyone...to accept others for who they are...to give of yourself what you can, and never expect anything in return...and to both laugh at and love yourself. RIP babba.
