.r{}Thanks for checking out my page! My name is Peter or Pete, whichever, it doesn't matter. LOL! I am originally from New Jersey, but moved to the Chicago area 16 years ago. I live in Naperville, IL with my wife and two wonderful sons, Matthew (3) and Nicholas (1). My boys are for sure My PRIDE AND JOY! Just check out all the pictures I have posted of them.I am passionate, warm, friendly, caring, very loyal and genuine. I have a very sarcastic sense of humor and for sure am your classic ball buster. There is nothing like a good hearty laugh! I tease on just about everything. It’s just my way.
It took me a lot of years, lots of shitty experiences and bad relationships for me to find me, but I did. I know who I am, am comfortable in my own skin and will not ever jeopardize or compromise that for anything or anyone. Been there, done that, and it will never happen again.
What you see is what you get. There is not a fake bone in my body. I don’t have time for it and have zero patience or tolerance for that type of behavior out of others.
I have been told I am opinionated, especially about things I am passionate or knowledgeable about. I am okay with that. I try to be gentle about it, and try not to offend others, but I will speak my mind and call a spade a spade. Don’t ask my opinion if you do not want the truth. As they say, be careful what you ask for. I am not perfect, don’t claim to be and don’t want to be. That word is not in my vocabulary. I have flaws and faults like everyone else and am honest enough to admit them.I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Roosevelt University in Schaumburg, IL. I have two writing diplomas from the Long Ridge School of Writing: one in Short Stories & Articles and the other in Fiction Novel Writing. My biggest passions are: my family, writing, the paranormal, softball, bowling and following my New York pro sports teams. My regular job is with a large food oil manufacturer. I am also a freelance writer and aspiring author. My goal is to make a full time career out of writing and get out of corporate America. In general, I am here for pretty much the same reasons everyone else is: to connect with new and old friends, try to and market what I do (most specifically my writings) and to network with people who have similar passions and interests. My writing: My Space is a vehicle to promote my work in the hopes of building a fan base and a reputation as a well polished and solid writer. I have been published on various web sites 26 times through a writing content mill called Triond. You can find all of my work there at https://www.triond.com/users/Peter+Cimino
Most of my pieces are on sports, paranormal, and life experiences.
I have two fiction short stories that I have been trying to find a home for at either a print magazine or web mag. It is not easy to break into print, but I will get there. I am not deterred.
I am twenty chapters (two-thirds of the way) into my first fiction novel. This is for sure my labor love. I have been told by several experts that the book has serious potential and could be worthy of getting picked up by a major New York City Publisher. Let's hope these experts are right! I have had several people ask me what it is about. I have been very leery to offer up any information on the topic or story (typical writer’s paranoia), but now that I am almost done, I will tell you that it is an Italian American Mafia story set in the late 1920’s and early 1930’s. If you want to know more, just ask. My goal is to have it completed by the end of 2010, so stay tuned. If you want to read more about me and my writings visit my web site called Peter Cimino: "My Writings Corner" at www.petercimino.com
There are also other cool sections on the site including weekly recaps I write about my softball team (each one reads like a new episode of a sitcom), more info on the novel and regular personal updates.Paranormal.: What can I say, like millions of others I am hooked, and have been for several years. I watch every show, follow and network with tons of experts, have written several articles, have gone on a ghost hunt, and for sure cannot get enough! I have finally officially joined a local paranormal group called ParanormalMD. I had been waiting for the right opportunity, with the right people and it finally came my way. My dear sweet friend Mary Marshall, who I have the utmost respect for when it comes to the field of paranormal investigating, asked me to join this group. She has graciously accepted my limited availability, so this works perfect. Here is the link to the web site. Please feel free to check it ou and of course, if you are in need of help, please use the web site and contact us. http://www.theparanormalmd.com/ There are several sections to the site including a very impressive blog, which I will hopefully be adding to when I can. You can also friend us on My Space. The group page is in my top friends list. So please friend us if you can.
I am also a member of the Super Natural Connections community.
For the record, I am not a psychic or a sensitive, and have never had an experience of my own; other than what I saw and heard while on the investigation of the Manteno Insane Asylum. I consider myself a very intrigued student and observer of the paranormal. If you are looking for someone to do a nice write up about an investigation, give me a shout! That of course means I get to tag along! LOL! By the way, my most popular article is about the investigation I went on at the Manteno Insane Asylum in Manteno, IL. These days I play softball in a men's league during the spring and summer and bowl in a men’s league during the fall and winter. I am die-hard fan of the NY Giants, NY Mets an NY Rangers. I very passionate about the pro bowler's tour especially the women. I have written several articles about them. And my bowling coach is the phenomenal Diandra Asbaty. So, give me a shout, read my stuff, visit my other sites, offer comments, feedback or just say hi. I never leave an email unanswered!p.s. If you hear from me via a friend request or something, like I said, I'm just trying to network, learn as much as I can, build a fan base and meet new people. In other words I am legit and harmless. Sure hope to hear from you. If there is anything else at all you'd like to know about me, just ask. Here is a random sampling of some of my most popular and well written short stories and articles.
