About Me

My name is Patrick Luke and I am a producer / writer / bass player.
I am based in London and produce music for artists / radio / film & TV. I've done soundtrack work for documentary films including 'Writing on the Wall', 'Recovery' (Community Channel), 'Time' (Channel 4) and most recently 'Lost Wax' a film about Mandela sculptor Ian Walters. Also working alongside Joyce Akrasi, I'm one half of electro - instrumentalists 'Akrasi' our releases include 'We Are In The Future' LP (2005) availale from iTunes and Zero-1 EP for Sellwell Records (2001). I previously played in a band from Manchester, called Sandmen. We recorded EPs 'Tighten Up', 'Dust Devil', 'Buffalo' and an LP - 'Excavator'. We appeared on Tony Wilson's music programme on Granada TV. We would play support for The Fall a lot, and get to play at The Hacienda / Free Trade Hall / Clapham Grand / Brixton Fridge. Proud moment so far was doing a John Peel session
